RESOLUTION NO. 193940

     WHEREAS, Calvary Cemetery is a nonendowment care cemetery located in the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described as follows:

and

     WHEREAS, no human dead bodies have been interred in said cemetery for a period of at least five years immediately preceding the effective date of this resolution; and

     WHEREAS, said cemetery threatens and endangers the health, safety, comfort and welfare of the public; and

     WHEREAS, all of the copings, improvements and embellishments located in said cemetery are a threat and danger to the health, safety, comfort and welfare of the public; NOW, THEREFORE,

     BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of The City of San Diego, as follows:

     That said cemetery is hereby abandoned as a place of future interment.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager of The City of San Diego is directed to cause the removal, after the expiration of sixty (60) days after the first publication of notice of the declaration of the intended abandonment of said cemetery, all copings, improvements and embellishments which are located at said cemetery.
