Know all men by these presents, that I J.S. Mannase, of the City of San Diego, California in consideration of One dollar in hand paid and the reconveyance to myself of a certain piece of land heretofore conveyed by me to the City of San Diego per deed of July 7, 1873 recorded in Book Twenty one of Deeds of San Diego County pg 264 el Seg. do hereby grant to William Begole, the President, and David W. Briant, John M. Boyd, Patrick O'Neill and Michael Keating Trustees of the City of San Diego, State of California, to them and their successors in office, in trust for and to the uses and behoof of said City all that real property situate in the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, California, described as follows
Commencing at a stake marked "Cemetery" at the South East corner of a tract of land deeded me July 18, 1869 by the Trustees of said City and recorded in Book No. 4 Deeds of San Diego Ca page 266 said initial point being common to lots Eleven hundred and nineteen, Eleven hundred twenty, Eleven hundred twenty one and Eleven hundred and twenty two, per Chas. H. Pooles Official Map of the Pueblo Lands of said City Thence West Nine twenty five one hundredths (9.25) chains to a Stake thence North one degree (N1° oo E) ten + ninety four hundredths (10.94) chains to Stake on side hill, thence East Nine and four one hundredths (9.04) chains to a Stake, thence South ten ninety four one hundredths (10.94) chains to point of commencement containing ten acres.
All of which said description will more fully appear from the accompanying Survey of Said land by Civil Engineer L. L. Lockling hereto attached and marked Exhibit "A."
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eleventh day of March A.D. 1876.

A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy six, before me, A.G. Grant County Clerk and ex. officio Clerk of the County Court in and for the said San Diego County personally appeared J. S. Mannasse, known to me to be the same person whose name is subscribed to the annexed instrument and acknowledged to me that he executed the same.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Official Seal, at my office in the said County of San Diego, the day and year in this Certificate first above written.
