J.E. MAHAN Admr, Sarah STARKEY, dec'd
On this day comes J.E. MAHAN and the heirs and husband of said Sarah STARKEY, dec. and present their petition showing that said deceased died intestate in Conway County Arkansas on or about Sept 1st 1887 possessed of personal property to the value of about $2000. Petitioners ask that letters of administration issue to said J.E. MAHAN upon said estate wherefore it is considered and ordered that letters of administration so issue to said J.E. MAHAN upon said estate upon his filing a bond as such administrator in the sum of $4000 dollars. Then comes said J.E. Mahan and files the bond above required which is approved by the court and letters ordered to be issued by the clerk upon said estate to the said J.E. MAHAN.

On this day comes on for examination and confirmation the account current of James MAHAN, Admr, Sarah STARKEY, deceased, filed October 9th 1888, continued and published as required by law which is by the court continued until the April term because of illegal fees and missing voucher.

On this day comes James MAHAN, administrator of the estate of Sarah Starkey, dec'd and files his final account current ___ is by the court continued for publication as required by law.

Now on this day it appearing to the court that the following claims are duly probated and were presented and allowed by the administrator of said estate.
It is therefore considered ordered and adjudged by the court that the said claims be paid are allowed and are classed aa follows, to wit: W.A. JONES in the sum of $23.50 classed first class.

On this day comes on for examination and confirmation the final account current of James MAHAN, Admr of the estate of Sarah STARKEY, deceased filed Oct 9th 1888, continued and published as requied by law and there being no exceptions filed to it or any item thereof and this being the fourth day of the term of this court said account current is in all things approved and confirmed and Admr credited with the sum of $78.28.
And it appearing to the court that said estate has been fully administered upon and there are no funds in his hands belonging to the heirs of said estate and that said estate should be closed, James MAHAN as such administration is hereby discharged and he and his securities on his administration bond are released from any further liability on said bond.
