pg 94) I Patsy PITTS of the County of Robertson & State of Tennessee widow do make & publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me heretofore made.
1st I direct that my body be decently interred at the burying ground and my old place on which I now live in ____ suitable so my condition in life and as to such worthy estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with. I dispose of the same as follows First I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of any money's that I may have possession of or may first come into the hands of my Executors from any portion of my estate real or personal. Secondly I give and bequeath to my son Joseph B. PITTS my tract of land on which I now live together with the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging. Thirdly I give and bequeath to my grandson Bartley P. WILLIS one negro man by the name of ____. Fourthly I give unto my grandson Joseph WILLIS my negro woman Aggy. I also give my grandson Wilson WILLIS one little? negro named Juda. I also give to my son Bartley PITTS five dollars and I give to my daughter Milly GORDON five dollars & I also give unto my daughter Michelle LYNN five dollars. It is my will and desire that my blackman Bob have the liberty of working with any of my children by their paying the worth of his labour to him for him to support. Lastly I give the balance of my estate to D? L. PITTS & my grand daughter of Major GREGORY to be equally divided between them and I do hereby make & appoint my son Joseph B. PITTS my Executor so this my last will & testament on testimony whereof I have hereunto set

The foregoing last will and testament of Patsy PITTS was presented in open Court for probate and thereupon came Simpson DORRIS & Jeremiah NELMS both subscribing witnesses thereto both ____ sworn depose and say that they were acquainted with Patsy PITTS the Testatrix in her lifetime and she acknowledged in their presence the same to be her last will and testament and that she was in her proper mind at the time the same was by the Court ordered to be recorded.
Letter of Administration with will annexed is granted to Vincent WILLIAMS on the estate of Patsy PITTS deceased.
