Mrs. Jeanette Chambers-Privette, resident of Warren Road
near Somerville and native Fayette Countian, died at
11:15 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Baptist
Memorial Hospital in Memphis where she had been a
patient for one week. Mrs. Privette was 85 years of
age and was the wife of the late J.C. Privette who
died in 1984. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Privette
were incomplete at press time and will be announced
by the Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home of Somerville.

JEANETTE CHAMBERS-PRIVETTE, 85, of Somerville, Tenn.,
homemaker, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Macon (Tenn.)
United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with
burial in New Bethel Cemetery near Rossville, Tenn.
Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville has
charge. She was a former member of Macon Home Demonstration
Club and Macon Quilting Club and a former president and
treasurer of Good Springs Cemetery Association. Mrs.
Privette, the widow of J.C. Privette, leaves three
daughters, Patricia DeMartini of Brandywine, Md.,
Louise Spann of Brentwood, Tenn., and Dianne Koffman
of Nashville; a brother, Harry Fleming of Southaven,
and three grandchildren. The family requests that
memorials be sent to Macon United Methodist Church.
