Walter Earl Ogden, 99, of Morrilton died Tuesday,
March 18, 2003. Born Nov. 2, 1903, in Newport, he
was a son of Jessie Sular and Edith (Kirchner) Ogden.
He was also widower of Ola Mae Ogden. He was a farmer
and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sons,
Willard R. Ogden of Glendale, Ariz.; Leonard “Jack” Ogden
of Pine Bluff, and Rayburn “Bud” Ogden of Union City,
Calif.; one daughter, Johnnie Mourot of Plumerville;
one brother, James Ogden of Morrilton; one sister,
Pearl Green of Morrilton; 22 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday,
2 p.m., at Hale-South Funeral Home with burial in
Memorial Park Cemetery, the Rev. Don Moore officiated.
