Leonard L. “Jack” Ogden Sr., 70, of Pine Bluff
died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003. Born Feb. 6, 1933,
in Morrilton, he was the son of Walter Earl and
Ola Mae Ward Ogden. He graduated from Plum Bayou
High School. Mr. Ogden worked for Central Maloney
for several years before opening his own business,
Ogden Heating and Air, in 1978. He was a member of
Immanuel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and was active
in city government. He was also a member of the Jacob
Brump Masonic Lodge and United Commercial Travelers.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Marie (Harper) Ogden;
one son, Leonard L. Ogden Jr. of Pine Bluff; one
daughter, Brenda Marie Scott of Pine Bluff; two brothers,
Willard Ray Ogden of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rayburn Earl
Ogden of California; one sister, Johnnie Mourot of
Morrilton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Monday, 10 a.m., at Hale-South
Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
