Emma Alice Ross-Kilbreath, 89, of Piggott died
Saturday, July 27, 1996 in Jackson TN. She was
born Jan 14, 1907 in Shelby County TN, the daughter
of the late Robert & Dora Doyle Stephens. She was
also preceded in death by three children, Wesley,
Francis and Alice; a brother Joe and sister Ruby
McIntyre. She was a member of the Calvary Missionary
Baptist Church in Piggott. She is survived by her
husband Denciel Kilbreath of Piggott; two sons John
David Glover of Benton Ill and William Ross Jr. of
Pocahontas; three daughters Inex Hill of Jackson TN,
Lela Dishman of Tucson AZ and Grace Jones of Wilmington
Ill; 32 grandchildren; and many other relatives and
friends. Funeral services were held at 11am Tuesday
at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Mike Cadwick
officiating. Burial was at Piggott Cemetery with Piggott
Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were grandsons.
Note: Emma first married Marlin Black Fletcher, 2nd, Monroe Glover, 3rd, W. Clyde Ross & 4th, Dencil Kilbreath - the brother Joe in
obit was actually an uncle on her mother's side.
