Son of David Wesley Huett

Millage Weldon Huett, 73, of Birdtown, died at a
Morrilton hospital Thursday, December 17. He was
born at Birdtown, June 10, 1891, a son of the late
David Wesley Huett and Lou Ella Allgood-Huett. He
was a retired farmer and a Master Mason of the
Springfield Masonic Lodge #127. Survivors include
his wife, Mrs. Effie Rogers-Huett of Birdtown; three
sons, Eudel Huett, Jim Hayes Huett and Gene Huett, all
of Morrilton; two step-daughters, Mrs Ava Mitchell of
Lawton Okla; Mrs. Sylvania LaVerne-Delaney of Detroit
Mich; five brothers, J.A. Huett, J.W. Huett, Will Huett
and Wood Huett of Birdtown; and J.C. Huett Morrilton;
two sisters, Mrs. Iva Williams and Mrs. Beulah McClaren,
both of Birdtown and six grandchildren. Funeral services
were 2:00p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Springs Baptist
Church at Birdtown by Elder Earl Smith. Burial was in
Kilgore Cemetery by Reid-Harris Funeral Home. Dr. J.O. Tipps,
Everett Huett, _ Ruff and Calvin Rollins were the pallbearers.
