Everett Wesley Huett, 77, of Morrilton, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006.
He was born January 14, 1929, in Birdtown, Arkansas, a son of David Wesley Huett and Iris (Bishop) Huett. He was a retired trucking company owner and operator, of the Baptist faith, and Air Force veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Anita Crowell Huett of Morrilton; daughter, Angie Marie Baxter and husband Richard of Little Rock; three grandsons, Scott Wesley Young of Naples, Florida, Richard L. Baxter Jr., and wife Desi of Little Rock, and Tyler Ray Baxter of Glendale; great-grandson, Xander Girard Baxter; three sisters, Elsie Porter and husband Joe; Ila Davidson and husband Bo, and Wilma Branton; brother-in-law, Dennie Crowell and wife Becky; sister-in-law, Georgia Crowell; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, at Harris Chapel with Pastor Steve Shepherd officiating. Burial was at Kilgore Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were Scott Young, Richard Baxter Jr., Tyler Baxter, David Branton, Mike Crowell, and Chad Shipp.
