Services Held For Ira Gordon; Graveside services were
held Tuesday morning at Patterson District Cemetery for
Ira Austin Gordon, 84, who died Saturday in the local
hospital. A native of Arkansas, Gordon was a retired
baker and had lived here one year. He is survived by his
wife, Susie Gordon of Patterson; six daughters, Fronia
Moffet of Chinese camp, Bessie Vaughn of Clear Lake, Loetia
Petrak of Reno, Alene Boies of Los Angeles, Bulah Gill of
Arkansas and Helen Silva of Patterson; four sons, Raymond
Gordon of Avenal, Abb Davis of Hayward, Mike Davis of Livermore
and Bill Clemmons of Oklahoma; 43 grandchildren, 84
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
