Gentlemen: I was to deliver my indent with the interest thereof to John Turner.
His receipt shall be a sufficient discharge from Gentlemen, your humble servant. Alexander Gordon

Before me Phillip Pearson, Esq personally appeared Alexander Gordon who being duly sworn made oath that the above account against the publick is just and true and that he hath never received any pay or other satisfaction for the said services. Alexander Gordon

Capt Turners compy of Horse in 1781 & 1782 at 27 day
