the county seat, and 6 1/2 east of Terrell, the nearest banking point. Settled in 1872, it contains several steam cotton gins and grist mills,
a church and a hotel. Population, 300. Tel, W.U. Exp., Pacific. W.M. Lindsey, postmaster.
