It is noted he & his parents were all born in TN. He can read, write & speak English. He was born Mar 1878. (pg 126b, #68)
2. June 16, 1900 Conway Co AR census record shows Lucinda Gordon age 17 living with her parents & siblings on their farm in Union township, P.O. Springfield. She attended school 4 months out of the year. (pg 127b, #186)
3. Mar 20, 1901 Lucinda Gordon age 19 & James Scoggins age 23 married in Conway Co AR by her Uncle W.W. Reed, Baptist Minister. H.D. Harrington was witness/security. (Marriage Bk L, pg 343)

7. Jan 21, 1933 Ollie L. Scoggins married Daniel Everett Young in Nowata Co OK.
8. Birth/Death dates on Lucinda Scoggins were obtained from family bibles of Sreathie Gordon-Huett & Ollie Meeler-Gordon and from her gravestone. Her gravestone shows a birthdate of 1883.
9. The family moved to OK prior to 1914.
10. Birth/Death dates for James Scoggins are from the SSDI. The ssn was issued in Oklahoma. His gravestone shows a birth date of 1875 & ssn record shows a birth date of 1878, his death date on gravestone shows Oct 26, 1972 but his ssn record shows a death date of Oct 15, 1972.
11. Lucinda Gordon-Scoggins is my great Aunt.
