5. 1918 Charles M. Gordon bought 69 1/2acres of timbered land with Lacy Creek running across it. He bought 2 acres of land from G.A. Dowdle upon a hill 1/2 mile and north from the 69 1/2acres. The Gordon's built a house in Dec 1917 on the 2 acres & moved into it Jan 1, 1918. The Gordon's cut the timber off of most of the 69 1/2acres & farmed it.
