Robert McGowan, brother of Georgiann, is living with them. All were born in Mississippi. (pg 65a, #580)
2. Pre 1890 Columbus MS newspaper - Yesterday while digging a deep trench in which to lay a sewer connection in Hight School Avenue and whan about ten feet below the surface, the soft, sandy earth caved in and covered Mr C.N. Cooper under about four feet of earth. By quick, heroic work the entombed man was rescued in about 10 minutes, and in his usual jocular manner thanked his rescuers for their assistance in time of need.

10. Jan 14, 1920 Tallahatchie Co MS census shows Robert L. Nelson age 46, Minnie L. age 42, Myrtle age 22, Hazel age 18, Robert L. age 15, Francis M. age 12 & Gordon P. Cooper (nephew) age 27 & single, living in Beat 5, Sumner town. Robert is a Dry Goods Merchant, Myrtle is a Teacher & Gordon is a Dry Goods Salesman. (pg 225a, #33)
11. Apr 2, 1930 Quitman Co MS census shows Gordon P. Cooper age 37, Sarah age 26, Cincinnatus Cooper age 63 & a widower, living in Beat 2, Lambert town. They owned their home valued at $5000. All were born in MS. Gordon is a General Store Merchant & Cincinnatus is a Retail Hardware Merchant. (pg 256a, #10)
12. Dec 31, 1939 Cincinnatus Cooper died in Lambert, Quitman Co MS & buried at Lambert Cemetery, Quitman Co MS.
13. Sep 14, 1972 Irene C. Houston died in Lufkin, Angelina Co TX. She had spent the last 5 years of her life at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Lufkin. She died due to Coronary Occlusion, Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease & had carcinoma of the lungs for a year. She was to be buried at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Macon, Noxubee Co MS. Informant was Mrs Bruce Kirkpatrick, her daughter. (TX Death Cert)
