2. Apr 21, 1910 Conway Co AR census record shows Thomas C. Scroggin age 27, Rosa age 21 married 5 years & had 3 children with all three living. He is a farmer in Lick Mountain township. Children living with them are Maud age 4, Freed age 3 and William age 3 months. (pg 93b, #96)
3. Sep 12, 1918 WWI Draft registration card shows T.C. Scroggin to be tall, medium build, blue eyes, light hair working as a teacher & insurance agent in Center Ridge AR area.
4. Jan 3, 1920 Conway Co AR census record shows Thomas Scroggin age 37, May age 30, Maude age 14, Freed age 13, Willie age 11, Tom Jr. age 9, Orville age 6, Elsie age 5, James age 3yrs, 1mo, Ila Fay age 1yr, 6mo living in Welborn township. His occupation is listed as life insurance. (pg 84b, #25)
5. Jan 26, 1925 Robert E. Scroggin died in Conway Co AR & buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
6. Sep 13, 1929 - Scroggin Family Reunion at Center Ridge. The home of Mr and Mrs J.H. Scroggin at Center Ridge was the gathering place for twenty five members of the Scroggin family for a reunion last Sunday. Mrs J.H. Scroggin acted as hostess. Among the guests were T.C. Scroggin and family of Morrilton and son William; E. Scroggin and wife of Chicago; Mr and Mrs J.A. Scroggin of Little Rock; W.C. Scroggin and family of Damascus and son Earl Scroggin and wife of Little Rock; and Mrs T.W. Scroggin, J.A. Scroggin, W.C. Scroggin and J.H. Scroggin. (Morrilton Democrat, pg 7)
7. Apr 15, 1930 Conway Co AR census record shows Thomas Scroggin age 47, Rosa age 41, T.C. Jr. age 19, Orvil age 17, Elsie age 15, James age 13, Ila age 11, Lillian age 9 & Wila age 7 living in Welborn township, Ward 3 of Morrilton city. It is noted they rented a home & Tom is listed as an insurance agent. (pg 192a, #259)
8. May 23, 1930 - Mr and Mrs Ernest Scroggin, accompanied by the latter's mother, Mrs Walker, all of Kansas City, spent the first of the week here with Mr Scroggin's uncle, T.C. Scroggin, and family, 401 W. Church. T.C. Scroggin Jr. accompanied by his cousin, Ernest Scroggin, who is visiting here from Kansas City, spent Wednesday in Little Rock. (Morrilton Democrat, pg 2)
9. July 4, 1930 - T.C. Scroggin left this morning for Chicago, where he will spend several weeks with his brother, Fred Scroggin. (Morrilton Democrat, pg 2)

14. Sep 26, 1930 - Rev. Cole Performs Wedding Ceremony. Rev. E.L. Cole pastor of the First Baptist Church, performed the wedding ceremony of Felix C. Petree of Clarksville, and Miss Ruth Reel, of Gas City, Ill., at the Baptist parsonage Tuesday evening. Mr Petree is a special representative of the Mutual Benefit, Health and Accident Association. They were accompanied to the home of Rev. Cole by T.C. Scroggin, who witnessed the ceremony, leaving immediately afterwards for Little Rock. (Morrilton Democrat, pg 2)
