Married: Martha Barbee "Patsy" about 1782. She is a daughter of Joseph Barbee & Mary Bohannon & was born about 1756 Orange Co NC, died 1841 Robertson Co TN.

Married: Mary Maulding "Polly" 1807. Mary died about 1843 Carroll Co MO.
Children: Govey Mimms, Brunetta, James Gid, Daniel L., Drusilla, Monica & John.
2. Mical born 1790 NC, died Massac Co IL.
Married: James Lynn Jr. 1805 Robertson Co TN. He died in Hopkins Co KY about 1830.
Children: Joseph, Benjamin, Bartlett, Andrew, Samuel, Martha, Young, Craven, Cheatham, Constantine, Nathaniel, Pitts & Patten.
3. Margaret C. "Peggy" born 1793 Chatham Co NC, died before Aug 1830 Robertson Co TN.
Married: Major Gregory. He died before 1830 Robertson Co TN.
Children: Martha "Patsy", Lydia Sally "Liddie", Milly, Jose Oliver, Judith, Mary & Jeremiah.
4. Joseph B. Jr. born 1795 Chatham Co NC, died before Oct 1843 Robertson Co TN.
Married: Jane ?
Children: Margaret Y., Patsy, Elvira, Mary J. & Joseph J.
5. Milly born about 1797 Chatham Co NC, died before 1870 Conway Co AR & buried at Grandview Cemetery.
Married: Robert Boaz Gordon about 1819 Robertson Co TN. He is the son of Alexander Gordon & Sarah Lee & was born 1800 Chester Co SC, died Aug 3, 1853 Conway Co AR & buried at Grandview Cemetery.
Children: Angeline, Alexander, Elvira, Elzanna, Eisora, Joseph Pitts, Johnathan James & Missouri.
6. Rebecca born 1803 Chatham Co NC.
Married: Elisha Willis in Robertson Co TN. He was born 1787 NC.
Children: Elizabeth, William, M.B., M.R., Henry & John.

26. Dec 26, 1839 Martha Pitts "Patsy" wrote her will & it was filed in Robertson County court Dec 1841 term & a letter of administration was granted to Vincent Williams. (Robt Co TN Will Bk 11, pg 94-94a)
27. 1840 Robertson Co TN census record shows Martha as head of household which consisted of 1 male 20-30yrs & 1 female 20-30yrs old. They owned 2 slaves. (pg 191, line 9)
