1. June 1, 1848 Patton Lynn was issued a final certificate for 40 acres of land purchased in Massac Co IL under the congressional legislative act dated Apr 24, 1820. (copy of final certificate)
2. June 29, 1860 Massac Co IL census record shows Patton Lynn age 31, Martha age 25, Eliza age 5 & Marietta age 3 on their farm in Pellona P.O. area. It is noted that their real estate is valued at $800 & personal estate valued at $290. Martha is working as a seamstress. (pg 972, line 567)
3. Aug 10, 1870 Massac Co IL census record show Patton Lynn age 42, wife Martha age 37 & children Emma age 9, William age 7, Henrietta age 5, George age 3 & Hattie age 2 months on their farm in P.O. Pellonia area. Their real estate is valued at $700 & it is noted that Patten Lynn cannot read or write. (pg 278b, line 40)
4. June 1880 Mississippi Co MO census record shows Patton Lynn age 51, Martha age 47, William G. age 16, Henrietta age 14, George W. age 11, Hattie age 10 & Fannie age 5 on their farm in St. James township. (pg 355b, line 207)
5. Feb 10, 1888 George W. Lynn died on a Sunday morning of typhoid fever at age 19 in Mississippi Co MO. (Charleston Enterprise newspaper obituary)
6. June 28, 1900 Mississippi Co MO census record shows Patton Lynn age 71, Fannie age 24 & her daughter Birdie age 3 son Lawrence age 1 on their farm in St. James township. It is noted Fannie had two children both living. (pg 244a, line 402)
