2. 1850 Massac Co IL census record shows Craven Lynn age 42, Martha age 36, Lidia age 18, Albert age 16, Thomas age 13, Eliza age 10, Joseph age 8 & Elisha age 4 on their farm in Massac Co IL. His occupation is Planter. (pg 486)
3. June 5, 1860 Massac Co IL census record shows Craven Lynn age 52, Martha age 46, Albert age 23, Thomas age 21, Elijah age 17, Joseph age 13 & Martha Jane age 4 on their farm in Metropolis P.O. area. Their real estate is valued at $1200 & personal estate valued at $458. Albert & Thomas were born in KY & the other children born in Massac Co IL. (pg 808, #75)
4. June 16, 1900 Massac Co IL census record shows Joseph W. Lynn age 44, Rosetta age 37, Charles age 18, Sylvester age 15 & Cravan age 13 living in Brooklyn precinct, Brooklyn Village on Norton Street. Joseph is an invalid. Charles & Sylvester are farmers. Joseph & Rosetta had been married 20 years, had 3 children all living. (pg 17b, #159)
5. June 23, 1900 Massac Co IL census record shows Elijah Lynn age 55, Sarah age 17, Fred age 7, Jessie Hendrickson age 9, Amanda Mundt age 67 & Donald Hendrickson age 7 living in Brooklyn precinct, Brooklyn Village on Elizabeth Street. Elijah is a retired farmer & Fred is a day laborer. Jessie & Donald are from Sarah's previous marriage. Amanda Mundt, a widow, is Sarah's mother. (pg 22a, #256)
6. Apr 18, 1910 Massac Co IL census record shows Sylvester Lynn age 24, Letha age 17 & Elmer age 4mo living in Brooklyn precinct, Brookport city. They had been married 2 years, had one child still living. Sylvester is a laborer. (pg 29a, #81)
7. "The family came to Illinois from Tennessee through Kentucky and Missouri by oxcart. They settled in the Unionville area of Massac County in the early 1840's. Thomas was a carpenter and farmer.
