Married: Sarah Dye Oct 24, 1839 Pope Co IL. She is the daughter of William & Elizabeth Dye & was born Feb 7, 1823 TN.

1. Andrew John born Nov 8, 1840 IL, died Dec 13, 1916 IL.
Married: Mary Ann Pistole July 18, 1862 Massac Co IL. She was born about 1840 TN.
Children: George W., Andrew J., Walter & Alonzo.
2. Martha J. born about 1855 IL.
3. Sarah Josephine born about 1857 IL.
4. Benjamin F. Jr. born about 1859 IL.
5. Anna America born 1865 IL.

Notes:
1. June 1, 1860 Massac Co IL census record shows Benjamin Lynn age 42, Sarah age 36, Martha age 5, Josephine age 3 & Benjamin Jr. age 1 on their farm in Metropolis P.O. area. It is noted that their real estate is valued at $900 & personal estate valued at $400. The children were all born in Massac Co IL. (pg 797, #4)
2. Mar 19, 1863 Benjamin Lynn was issued a final certificate for 40 acres of land purchased in Massac Co IL under the congressional legislative act dated Apr 24, 1820. (copy of Final Certificate)
3. Aug 12, 1870 Massac Co IL census record shows Benjamin Lynn age 52, Sarah age 47, Martha J. age 15, Sarah J. age 12, Benjamin F. & Anna A. age 5 on their farm in P.O. Chansville area. It is noted his personal estate is valued at $250. (pg 282a, #84)
4. Aug 12, 1870 Massac Co IL census record shows Andrew J. Lynn age 29, Mary age 28, George W. age 8, Andrew J. age 6 & Walter age 7mo on their farm in P.O. Chansville area. It is noted that their real estate is valued at $800 & personal estate valued at $250. (pg 282a, #84)
5. June 23, 1880 Pope Co IL census record shows Benjamin Lynn age 62, Sarah age 57 & America age 15 on their farm in Logan precinct. (pg 82a, #87)
