Notes:
1. Nov 16, 1786 John Lee (II) wrote his will leaving his son Stephen 2 tracts of land, one 100 tract & one 75 acre tract.
2. June 1799 Stephen Lee is listed in the probate/inventory record of James Young Sr. (SC Dept of Archives & History, Chester County estate papers of James Young Sr, Apt 1, #1155, Microfilm #C58)
3. Aug 4, 1800 Chester Co SC census record shows Stephen Lee as head of household which consisted of 1 free white male under 10, 2 free white males 16-26yrs, 1 free whtie female under 10, 2 free white females 16-26yrs, 1 free white female 45& over. He owned 3 slaves. (pg 75, #41)
4. Aug 4, 1803 Deed - Mary Lee & son Stephen to John Cameron, 125 acres. This land was part of 2 tracts of land originally granted to Jacob Bowers in 1762 which was transferred by Jacob to John Lee Sr. & then bequeathed to Stephen by John Lee Sr. (Fairfield County SC Deed, Book & Page # unknown)
5. Jan 2, 1807 Hugh Young & Aaron Goza received letters of administration for the estate of Stephen Lee. Gan Thompson, William Pannell & James Blain were appointed appraisers of the estate.
6. Stephen Lee is my ggggg Uncle.
