The church was completed in 1842 & a congregation established in 1759.
Memorial Granite Marker of Revolutionary War Soldiers
In August 1933 the Catholic Memorial Association unveiled this memorial of the 62 members of the church who served as soldiers in the Revolutionary War.
In 1773 William Martin became the minister & his sermons inspired many to fight in the war.
