Notes:
1. Robert was with Andrew Jackson during the Indian wars in Florida and Georgia. Much later, when Jackson became president, he awarded Robert about 1600 acres of land northeast of what is now Atkins. He was on this land in 1834; and part of it was in the Wilson family for about 117 years.
