9. July 23, 1870 Simpson Co KY census record shows James Herndon age 51, Elizabeth P. age 47, William age 22, George age 17, Lynn Boyd age 15, James age 12 & Susan P. age 12 on their farm in P.O. Franklin area. Their real estate is valued at $17,000 & personal estate valued at $500. (pg 34b, #22)
