5. 1928 - "In about 1928 the previously mentioned community schools were consolidated into one high school located at Center Ridge and named Nemo Vista - meaning Woodland View. Nineteen acres of land were purchased from Jake Richardson for approximately $800. Jake Richardson, Jim Lockhart, Jess Stripling, Fred Mason, J.R. Dockins, Sherman Etheridge, Truman Robbins and others were instrumental in this consolidation. The new high school was completed in 1930 at a cost of approximately $10,000."
