Joseph Pitts Gordon

"Uncle Joe Gordon was my grandfather. I don't remember him. He died before I was born. I remember Grandma Gordon very well. I was about ten when she passed on. Uncle Joe Gordon, as he was
called by everybody, donated part of the cemetery land where he is buried. He also donated land for the Church building and the school, both have since been moved."
~ Vernon Gordon, June 1997
