Robert Edgar Gordon was an enjoyable person and a great story teller. Everone called him Judge. He raised pecans and would sit on the street in town and sell pecans. What he was really doing was listening to everyone's troubles and if they were selling their land he offered to buy it. He owned most of the river bottom around Plummerville. He had no children.
