Jonathan Wiley Fletcher is the son of Robert B. Fletcher & Sarah Jane Chambers & their son was Marlin Black Fletcher. Wesley Blick Fletcher is the son of Marlin Black Fletcher.
Wesley was married to Mae Oneita Henley.
Note: Emma Alice Stephens married (1) Marlin Black Fletcher, (2) Monroe Glover, (3) W. Clyde Ross, (4) Dencil Kilbreath "Dink"
*Emma or Grandma Ross as we knew her lived in Arkansas all her life. Grandpa Ross' job took them to Arkansas. I remember when we got to go to her house it was a real treat. Her husband, W.C. Ross, was the only grandpa I ever knew. He always accepted us and made us feel welcome. He worked at a light plant and would always go out when we came over and buy doughnuts for breakfast. Grandma used to babysit children & it was nothing for her to have around 20 kids around. Grandma out lived all her husbands except "Dink". She was quite a woman. Dink and her would go out and stay late at night coon hunting.
*Marlin Fletcher died when his son Wesley was 28 months old. His mother remarried to Monroe Glover. He could not get along with his stepfather. He went to live and work on the farm of William Pinkney Henley. That is how he met May Oneita. They slipped off to Benton Co MS and married. He was scared he would not have a job after they came back to Fayette Co TN. He was a happy man and a great father. I lost my father at an early age but can remember the sweet and kind person he was.

Note: Mae Oneita Henley-Fletcher, wife of Wesley Blick Fletcher.
*Mae Oneita Fletcher died due to a blood clot to her lungs following breast cancer surgery. She also had diabetes, cancer of the uterus & cancer of the colon. She was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church in Fayette Co TN.
*Wesley B. Fletcher died due to injuries received from a tractor trailer wreck. He served in the army during World War II and worked as a sharecropper & part-time truck driver.
*Grandma (Emma Alice Stephens) was a remarkable lady. She would come to our house after I married & spend the night & tell my husband & I some amazing stories. From what I understand from her the only reason she married Monroe Glover was because she had a small child & everyone kept telling her it was the right thing to do.
*Jonathan Wiley Fletcher was a very religious man & served as a choir leader for years. He spent his entire life in and around Fayette Co TN.
*When I was little John Wesley Fletcher would come and visit every Saturday morning and bring a bag full of candy bars. Mae Oneita Fletcher took care of John when he got where he could not stay be himself. Then when she got where she could not take care of him, he went to live with his sister Annie's family. He stayed there til he died.
*In the 1920 census Franklin was going by his father's name Boothe, in 1930 he was going by Fletcher, his mother's maiden name. Franklin's half sister Margie told me Franklin had his name changed to Fletcher. He was raised by his grandfather, Jonathan Fletcher, and wanted his last name.
