"William Brown Gordon "Buffalo" got his nickname when he played basketball in his younger days. He was teased for moving like a buffalo." ~ Memories of Donna Gordon

"Charles Wesley Gordon loved to play baseball when young. We have two bats he made and they are beautifully designed and balanced. He took our kids (5 grandchildren) fishing one day and spent the whole time getting fishing lines free from the bushes and trees around the tank and he had a great time! Charles was a trolley driver in Dallas then when they switched over to buses & drove them until he retired. There is a tourist trolley ride now from downtown Dallas up McKinney Ave that is quite an attraction. They use the old trolley cars. He took a ride on the trolley with his son Kenall a couple of years before he died. The man driving the trolley was the one Charles had trained & he let Charles sit up there & drive for awhile. He loved it!" ~ Memories of Donna Gordon

"Charles Monroe Gordon delivered rural mail on horesback & also did veterinary work. Charles Wesley Gordon played the guitar & William Brown Gordon played the fiddle at the dances in Prairieville TX." ~ Memories of Donna Gordon
