pg 99) A memorial exhibited by John LEE to be registered in the auditors office & of a plantation or tract of land containing 100 acres situate in Craven County on Rocky Creek bounded S.W. on land of William HINCHLIN S.W. by land of John AVENS's and William NOTTENBERRY's the other sides by vacant land originally granted by his excellency Thomas BOONE Esqr, Governor the 5th day of June 1770 to Isaac ELLEDGE at the __ of __ money per 100 acres to commence two years from the date and conveyed by him by lease and release bearing date respectively the 9th and 10th days of November 1770 to the memorialist. In witness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand the 21st day of December 1771.
