Know all men by these presents that I Stephen LEE and Mary LEE his mother of Fairfield District and in the State aforesaid in consideration of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by John CAMERON of Charles District in the State aforesaid have granted, bargained, sold and released and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said John CAMERON all that plantation or tract of land containing one hundred and twenty five acres being part of two tracts of land the one tract granted to Jacob BOWERS in the year 1762


pg ?) was transferred by the said BOWERS unto John LEE Senr and bequeath to said Stephen LEE by John LEE Senr bequeathed unto the said Stephen LEE together with the old mill on Little River and beginning on GORDON land now said John CAMERON's land and beginning on a red oak corner and running South to a tract of land surveyed for Jacob CASSELS now CAMERON's land and corner on a hickory and from thence runs to Little on said John CAMERON's land and crosses the river and runs on William MARCHEL's land to the corner and bounds on Mr. WILLSON's and runs on said land to the corner together with all and singular the rights, minerals, hereditaments and appurtenances to said premises belonging or in anywise __ or appertaining; To have and to hold all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said John CAMERON his heirs and assigns forever and we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said John CAMERON, his heirs and assigns against ourselves and our heirs also against every person or persons __ lawfully claiming __ or to claim the same or any part thereof. Witness our hands and seals this August the fourth day Anno Domini eighteen hundred and three and in the twenty eighth year of the independence of the United States of America.

South Carolina Fairfield District - Memorandum that on the 27 day of January in the year of our Lord 1804 personally appeared John ROBINSON and made oath as the law directs that he was present and did see the within named Stephen LEE and Mary LEE sign, seal and as their act and deed deliver the within deed of conveyance or instrument of writing to the within named John CAMERON for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and also the said Stephen LEE sign the receipt herefore the consideration, money within mentioned and also said Hugh McKEOWN sign his name as a witness __ __ __ the __.
