Know all men by these presents that I Alexander GORDON of Fairfield County and State aforesaid, planter, in consideration of the sum of forty pounds sterling money to me paid by Theophilus WILSON of the same county have __ and __ planter have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto the said Theophilus WILSON a certain tract or plantation of land containing __ hundred and fifty acres situate in Craven County on the West side of the Wateree River near Bear Creek on both sides the road from Anthony __ to Capt ROSS __ bounding on all sides by vacant land and have such shape, form and marks as appears by a plat to the grant owned originally granted unto Mary GORDON as her bounty and the hand of William BULL Esqr. dated the 12th day of Sept 1708 registered in the Secretary's Office in Book E.E.E. page 62 together with all and singular the rights, minerals, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise __ appertaining to have and to hold the above mentioned premises unto the said Theophilus WILSON his heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors & administrators & warrant and forever defend all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said Theophilus WILSON and his heirs from myself and from all other persons ___ any just claim or claims in the same or any part __.
