pg 195) Pursuant to a precept directed by Egerton LEIGH Esqr, his Majesty's Surveyor General, dated the 5th day of June 1759 I have surveyed and laid out unto John LEE a tract of land containing fifty acres, situate lying and being on a branch of Rocky Creek called Bulls Branch, in Craven County. And butting and bounding by vacant land on every side. And hath such shape and marks as the plat above doth represent. Certified the 19th day of June 1759 by John HAMELTON D.S.

pg 294) South Carolina - Pursuant to a precept from the Honorable Egerton LEIGH Esqr., Surveyor General, dated the 3rd of August A.D. 1762 admeasured and laid out unto Francis PENSON a tract of land containing fifty acres situate lying and being betwixt Broad & Catawba Rivers in Craven County bounding on the S.E. with John LEE's land and all the other three sides with vacant land and hath such form, shape and marks as the above plat represent. Certified by me the 23rd of Oct A.D. 1762. John GASTON, D.S.
