Elisha WILLIS from George BARBEE
pg 213) This indenture made this the 19th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eighteen hundred and twenty between George BARBEE of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the one part and Elisha WILLIS of the County and State aforesaid the other part witnesseth that the said BARBEE for the love and affection he bears towards the said WILLIS hath given, granted, aliened, conveyed and confirmed unto the said WILLIS his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land containing twenty eight and one fourth acres lying and being in Robertson County on the waters of Red River butted and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at a stake the Southeast corner of Robert B. GORDON's twenty eight and one fourth tract running
pg 214) West with said line 124 poles to a stake thence South 36 2/3 poles to a stake thence East 124 poles to a stake in an old line thence North to the beginning with the appurtenances and every post and parcel thereof to have and to hold the before mentioned land and bargained premises to the said WILLIS his heirs and assigns forever and the said BARBEE for himself his heirs, Excr. and Admr. doth hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with the said WILLIS his heirs and assigns that the before mentioned land bargained premises he will warrant and forever defend against himself his heirs or any other preson or persons claiming from or under them In witness whereof the said BARBEE hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this the day and year first written.
