pg 212) This indenture made this eighteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one between William RAGSDALE of the County of Robertson State of Tennessee of the one part and Theophilus MORGAN Junr. of the County of Robertson and State aforesaid the other part witnesseth that the said William RAGSDALE for and in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars to him in hand paid by the said Theophilus MORGAN the receipt payment whereof is hereby acknowledged
pg 213) given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, confirmed and conveyed unto the said Theophilus MORGAN Junr the tract or parcel of land (to wit) first one tract or parcel containing one hundred acres be the same more or less situate lying and being in the County of Robertson and State aforesaid lying on Red River Beginning at a black oak on the bank of the river running with a conditional line made by RAGSDALE and YATES running to a spanish oak thence North the whole length of Thomas YATES survey to a stake on the ___ side of Red River thence East and South and ___ the river to the beginning so as to include the said Thomas YATES survey lying on the North side of the river and being the whole of the land specified by the said YATES to William RAGSDALE - Secondly, one other tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Robertson and State aforesaid on Red River containing __ acres more or less bounded as follow (to wit) Beginning at a black jack on Joel MOORE's East boundary line of ___ tract in the barrens & running East one hundred poles to a post oak thence South eighty poles to a stake thence West __ hundred poles to a hickory on STALLION's line thence North with said line and MOORE's line to the beginning granted by the State of Tennessee to the said William RAGSDALE by No. 1030? __ lastly one other tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County aforesaid on Red River containing __ acres more or less bounded as follows, to wit, beginning ___on said RAGSDALE's old line and runs thence twenty __ and one half poles to a black oak thence East fifty sixe poles to a hickory thence South twenty eight and a half poles to a stake on said __ line thence West with the said line
