pg 407) This indenture made and entered into this second day of February one thousand eight hundred and twenty one between Martin WALTON of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the one part and David J. WALTON of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said David J. WALTON the receipt and payment whereof in the said Martin WALTON doth hereby acknowledge himself therewith fully satisfied, contracted and paid and hath given, granted, bargained and sold aleined, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain and sell, aleinate and confirm unto the said David J. WALTON his heirs and assigns forever a tract or parcel of land containing sixty acres , fifty acres of which was granted to Thomas JONES No. 6025 the other ten acres was granted to John STARK by virtue of certificate
pg 408) No. 2712 and dated the second day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventeen the survey bearing date 8th day of October the same year lying and being in Robertson County and State of Tennessee in the first district butting and bounding as followeth, to wit, Beginning at three post oaks near and old road leading from Bazel BOREN's (now Henry HARTS) to William BENSON's and running due East eighty poles to two post oaks, thence due South one hundred and twenty seven poles to a hickory in FLOOD's line thence West with said line fifty seven poles to the corner stake in RAY's line, thence North with his line twenty seven poles to a hickory in Martin WALTON's line, thence West twenty one poles to his the said WALTON's corner on a black oak, thence due North one hundred poles to the Beginning including the place known by the name of the hickory ___ to have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining with all and singular the benefits and hereditaments these are therefore to arise unto him the said David J. WALTON his heirs and assigns to his only use forever and the said Martin WALTON for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby covenant ___ and agree to and with the said David J. WALTON his heirs and assigns that unto them only the land and premises
pg 409) above mentioned be the said Martin WALTON bind himself his heirs Executors, Administrators and assigns forever to warrant and defend the title of said land against the lawful claim and demand of any person or persons whatsoever, In witness whereof the said Martin WALTON doth hereunto set his hand and seal this day and date first above written.

To all to whom these presents shall come, greeting: Know ye that by virtue of a certificate No. 2079 dated the 27th day of March 1815 issued by the
pg 506) Register of West Tennessee to Wm LITTLE and entered on the 27th day of March 1815 No. 14194 there is granted by the said State of Tennessee unto Wm RAGSDALE assignee of the said Wm. LITTLE a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres by survey bearing date 13th day of September 1815 lying in Robertson County in the first district on the waters of Red River bounded as follows, to wit, beginning at a red oak Thos. YEATS Northwest corner on WILLIAMS line running South one hundred & forty three poles to a red oak in said RAGSDALE's line, thence West with said line seventy three poles to a stake corner to a ten acre survey belonging to said RAGSDALE, thence North with said line twenty eight poles to the corner red oak, thence West with other line forty eight poles to a red oak, thence North one hundred and fifteen poles to a stake in WILLIAMS line, thence East with line one hundred & twenty poles to the beginning with the hereditaments and appurtenances to have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said William RAGSDALE and his heirs forever in witness whereof Joseph McMINN Governor of the State of Tennessee hath hereunto set his hand and caused the great seal of the State to affixed at Knoxville on the tenth

pg 508) North Carolina Warrant No. 5001 dated the 24th day of November 1797 and entered on the 14th day of Jan 1811 by No. 5756 there is granted by the State of Tennessee unto William RAGSDALE asignee of the heirs of the ___ ___ a certain tract or parcel of land containing fifty acres part of said warrant by survey bearing date 17th day of July 1812 lying in Robertson County in the first district on the North side of Red River near the Wild Cat Hollow and bounded as follows, to wit, beginning on a fork a black jack on Joel MOORE's East boundary line of a sixty acre tract in the BARREN's and running East one hundred poles to a post oak, thence West one hundred poles to a hickory on STALLION's line, thence North with the said line and MOOREs line to the beginning with the hereditaments & appurtenances to have & hold the said tract or parcel with it's appurtenances to the said William RAGSDALE and his heirs forever in witness whereof Joseph McMINN Governor of the State of Tennessee hath hereunto set his hand & caused the great seal of the State to be affixed at Knoxville on the 7th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand
