Hugh HENRY to George GORDON
pg 51) This indenture made this sixteenth day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven between Hugh HENRY of the County of Robertson State of Tennessee of the one part and George GORDON of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Hugh HENRY for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and sixty five dollars in hand paid, the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged and himself therewith fully satisfied, contented and paid hath given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said George GORDON, his heirs and assigns forever, a tract or parcel of land containing two hundred and twenty six acres and one quarter of an acre be the same more or less, lying and being in the County of Robertson on the Sulpher Fork of Red River being part of said Hugh HENRYs pre-emption whereon he now lives.
Beginning at a hornbean on the Clay Lick branch, runs South thirty two poles to a hickory, thence West fourteen poles to a stake, thence South two hundred and forty poles to a hickory and dogwood, thence West one hundred and thirty four poles to a sugar tree near the Sulpher Fork, thence North down said Creek two hundred and twenty four poles to the mouth of the Clay Lick branch, thence up said branch as it meanders to the beginning.
To have and to hold the above bargained premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining with all and singular the benefits and emoluments thereto and therefrom to arise to the said George GORDON, his heirs and assigns to his only use and behoof forever, and the said Hugh HENRY for himself his heirs, executors and administrators doth covenant, promise and agree to and with the said George GORDON, his heirs and assigns, that to them and them only the land and premises herein conveyed he will forever defend against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person or persons whatsoever whereby the above mentioned premises may be affected or encumbered contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents.

Moses WINTERS to Joseph WASHINGTON
pg 115) This indenture made this 9th day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & two between Moses WINTERS of the County of Robertson of the one part and Joseph WASHINGTON of the County & State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that the said Moses WINTERS for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars in hand paid by the said WASHINGTON to him the said WINTERS the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, he the said Moses WINTERS hat bargained & sold & by these presents do grant bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said Joseph WASHINGTON, his heirs and assigns a certin tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County & State aforesaid and lying on the South side of Sulpher Fork of Red River, being part of Moses WINTERS deed, preemption containing 204 acres more or less and bounded as follow, to wit, Beginning at a black gum runs West 73 poles to a white oak, thence North 45 degrees West 120 poles to a white oak on the Sulpher Fork Creek, then down the meanders of the Creek as follows, North 10 degrees East 41 poles North 45 degrees East 13 poles, thence North 50 degrees East 67 poles, thence North 40 degrees West 26 poles, thence North 70 degrees West 12 poles, thence West 38 poles, thence North 70 degrees West 32 poles, thence South 70 degrees West 18 poles, thence South 30 degrees West 40 poles, thence South 18 degrees West 40 poles, thence South 5 degrees East 18 poles, thence South 18 degrees East 23 poles, thence South 70 degrees East 6 poles, thence South 20 degrees East 53 poles, thence South 75 poless, thence South 23 degrees East 12 poles, thence South 10 degrees East 13 poles to a double sycamore then with the Bluff of Caleb's Creek North 70 degrees East 40 poles, thence South 55 degrees East 2 poles, thence South 65 degrees East 29 poles to a white oak and to a sugar tree, thence to the beginning.
To have and to hold the said land and granted premises together with all the appurtenances, hereditaments, woods, ways, waters, mines, minerals to the said Jos. WASHINGTON his heirs and assigns forever also all the estate, rights, title, property, claim & demands which I the said Moses WINTERS now has or even had of in and to the said land & premises or any part or parcel thereof and I the said Moses WINTERS doth hereby covenant and agree for myself, my heirs, executors and administrator to and with the said Joseph WASHINGTON, his heirs and assigns that I the said Moses WINTERS my heirs, executors, administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend against all lawful claims or demands of all person or persons whatsoever claiming or demanding the said 204 acres of land whereby the premises may be affected or incumbered contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents for value rec'd.

Thomas YATES to William RAGSDALE
pg 116) This indenture made this 20th day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & two between Thomas YATES of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the one part and William RAGSDALE of the County & State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Thomas YATES for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto William RAGSDALE his heirs and assigns one hundred acres of land, more or less, lying and being in the County of Robertson on Red River.
Beginning at a black oak on the bank of the river, runs with a line made by said YATES & RAGSDALE to a spanish oak, thence North the whole length of YATES survey to a stake on the North side of the river, thence East and South meanderings the river to the beginning so as to include all said YATES survey lying on the North side of Red River to have and to hold to the said William RAGSDALE his heirs and assigns forever, and the said YATES doth for himself his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the aforesaid land and premises against himself his heirs or any person claiming under them his heirs and all persons whatsoever unto the said William RAGSDALE, his heirs.

George GORDON to Samuel HENLEY
pg 256) This indenture made this the fifteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six between George GORDON of the County of Livingston and State of Kentucky, Samuel HENLEY of the State of Tennessee and County of Robertson for and in consideration of the sum of $270.00 current money of the State of Tennessee to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted, bargained and sold, aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, alien and confirm unto the said Samuel HENLEY his heirs, a certain tract or parcel of land containing six hundred and thirty acres lying in the State of Tennessee and the County of Robertson on the waters of Buzzard Creek, deed bearing date the 14th day of August one thousand eight hundred and five, and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at a hickory a white oak and black oak on David JONES West boundary running West 240 poles to two post oaks thence South 440 poles to a spanish oak and to maples thence East 240 poles to a stake thence North to David JONES Southwest corner in the whole 440 poles to the beginning to hold the said tract or parcel of land containing six hundred and thirty (630) acres, be the same more or less, with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Samuel HENLEY his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof and the said George GORDON for himself his heirs and assigns the said tract or parcel of land unto the said Samuel HENLEY shall and will warrant and forever defend against the claim of the said George GORDON his heirs and assigns but not otherwise.
