Thompson King to Richard Traughber
pg 82) This deed made the 17th day of February 1880 between Thompson KING and S.M. KING his wife of Logan County KY of the first and Richard TRAUGHBER of same County and State of the second part witnesseth that said first party in consideration of fourteen hundred dollars paid as follows, two notes for one hundred and twenty seven and 50/100 each dated the 25th day of November 1879 the first due twelve months after date and the second due two years after date without interest said notes payable to Sarah TRAUGHBER and given by J.C. LOVELESS, Three notes for four hundred and eight dollars each dated February 17, 1880 due twelve months, two years and three years from date respectfully with interest from date at eight percent

pg 83) said notes payable to J.H. BEASLEY have bargained and sold and hereby convey unto said second party a certain parcel of land lying and being in the County of Logan and State of Kentucky on the waters of Red River and bounded as follows, viz. Beginning at a two black oaks and a rock running thence South 134 poles with the line of Dr BROWN to a rock thence West 51 poles to an ash and gum thence N. 39 poles to a rock thence N. & E. about 51 poles to a rock thence E. 194 poles to the beginning containing one hundred and twenty five acres more or less.
To have and to hold said property unto said second party his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of General Warranty releasing all rights of homestead and dower. Witness the hand of the grantors date above.
