H.J. HILDEBRAND to George A. KING
pg 142) This deed of mortgage between H.J. HILDEBRAND of the first and George A. KING of the second part witnesseth that said first party in consideration of the sum of seventy dollars for which amount the said HILDEBRAND has this day executed his note to said KING of this date and due with interest at 8% has bargained and sold and hereby __ unto said second party, one mouse colored mule (horse) nine years old 15 1/2 hands high which is the same mule this day sold said HILDEBRAND by said KING to have and to hold siad property unto said mortgage against all claims proveded if said mortgages shall pay said indebtedness and all costs of collection including an attorney fee if foreclosed __ said then this conveyance shall be void. Given under my hand 1st day of March 1877.
