pg 196) This deed between J.T. KING, Taylor KING, Thompson KING, Melissa K. WICKWARE and husband John K. WICKWARE, Adeline HARWELL and husband Shelby HARWELL heirs of Mary Ann Agness KING dec'd of the first part and Jno. J. HITE of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and thirty dollars for which a note is

pg 197) drawn in favor of Thompson KING due January 1st 1876 for 258.75 Taylor KING due January 1st 1876 for 158.75 Melissa KING WICKWARE due January 1st 1876 for 158.75 Adeline HARWELL due January 1st 1876 for 158.75 the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell, grant, and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, the following described property, viz, the __ interest of their mother, wife to J.T. KING, Mary Ann Agnes KING dec'd in and to the tract of land of one hundred and twenty four and a half more or less which was assigned as dower to Mrs. Elizabeth HITE in the landed estate of her husband John HITE Sr. Dec'd. The said Mary Ann Agness KING dec'd being a daughter and heir of John HITE Sr. dec'd. The said parties of the first part hereby intending to this deed to the said John Q. HITE to the one fifth interest of the said Mary Ann Agnes KING dec'd and husband J.T. KING in and to said one hundred and twenty four and a half acres of land aforesaid a deed of General Warranty To have and to hold the same with all the appurtenances thereon to the second party, his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of General Warranty. In testimony whereof witness our signatures this 13 day of November 1875.
