G.H. & Quinnie WATKINS to E.L. MORGAN & Mrs Charlie ROYALTY
pg 345) Know all persons by these presents that we G.H. WATKINS and wife Quinnie WATKINS have this day bargained, sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto E.L. MORGAN & Mrs. Charles ROYALTY for and in consideration ($450.00) four hundred and fifty dollars cash to us in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged one lot or parcel of land lying and being in the 16th Civil District of Carroll County Tennessee and bounded as follows, Beginning on the __west corner of lot number one with post oak and red oak pointers runs South with the West boundary of lot no. one 111 poles to a stake in a field and persimmon pointers where No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 all comes together thence West 70 poles to West boundary of original tract to stake red oak and hickory pointers on Levi TRAYWICK's East boundary line, thence North 6 1/2 degrees East 112 poles to stake on __ COX's land, thence East 56 1/2 to the beginning containing by estimation 43 acres and 140 poles more or less to e.L. MORGAN and Mrs Charlie ROYALTY, to have and to hold to the same E.L. MORGAN and Mrs Charlie ROYALTY their heirs and assigns We cevenant with E.L. MORGAN and Mrs Charlie ROYALTY that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said lands and have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered. We __ her covenant and bind ourselves, our heirs and representatives & forever warrant and defend the title to the same against a lawful claim of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof we hereunto affix our signature and seal the twenty second day of February nineteen hundred and six. (1906)

Personally appeared before me W.M. EDWARDS, Notary Public in and for said State and County G.H. WATKINS the within named bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within instrument for the purposes therin contained and Quinnie WATKINS wife of the said G.H. WATKINS having appeared before me privately and apart from her husband, the said Quinnie WATKINS, having acknowledged the execution of the said deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and understandingly without compulson or constraint from her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed. MORGAN and Mrs Charlie ROYALTY for and in consideration of ($250.00) two hundred and fifty dollars cash to us in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged one lot a parcel of land lying and being in the 16th Civil District of Carroll County Tennessee and bounded as follows: Beginning on a stake post oak and two red oak pointers on J.L. __ boundary line thence West 6 1/2 degrees North 83 poles to a stake post oak and red oak pointers to Geo. SHAFFNER's Southeast corner, thence North 6 1/2 degrees East 48 poles one and one quarter length to stake and three red oak pointers, thence East 6 1/2 degrees South 77 poles to a stake, thence South 50 poles to a stake post oak and two red oak pointers on J.L. COX North boundary line to the beginning containing twenty four (24) acres more or less to E.L. MORGAN and Mrs Charlie ROYALTY To have and to hold to the same E.L. MORGAN & Mrs Charlie ROYALTY their heirs and assigns we covenant with E.L. MORGAN & Mrs Charlie ROYALTY that we are lawfully seized and pos-

We further covenant and bind ourselves our heirs and representatives to forever warrant and defend the title to the same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
