Miss Maryre [sic] Burnes, a beautiful and attractive young lady
of Louisa, Kentucky, is visiting her friend Miss Byrd May.

Friday, Feb. 13, 1891
Miss Dora Wilson of Louisa, Kentucky who has been visiting
friends in Tazewell for several months, left for home on Monday
last. It is hoped by her many friends that she will soon pay
anther visit to Tazewell.

Friday, Oct. 9, 1891

Mrs. R.J. Prichard and her charming little daughter, Lucy,
after a visit of several weeks to Col. May's family, left
Friday for her home in Louisa, KY.

Mrs. A.J. May, Jr. who is a charming hostess gave a thoroughly
enjoyed cobweb party last Friday evening in honor of her friend
Miss Dora Vinson, of Ky.

Married, at noon, Wednesday last, at the residence of A.J. May,
Jr., Mr. J. Tate Greever, one of our society young men, to Miss
Dora Vinson, of Louisa Ky, who is one of East Kentucky's most
popular young ladies. The bride was a visitor here last season
to her relatives family, Col. A.J. May and made many warm
friends during her stay. We congratulate our friend Tate in
securing so charming a help meet, and congratulate Tazewell in
the addition of so worthy a lady citizen. May the happy couple
enjoy all the sweets of married life and avoid all the evils.
May the roses bloom, and every thorn be secreted, during their
journey through life.

 Mr. and Mrs. J. Tate Greever and a few friends were given a
handsome supper Wednesday evening at the hospitable residence
of Blair B. Greever, Esq. the father of the groom. Mr. and Mrs.
B. B. Greever are noted for their elegant hospitality; on this
occasion they surpassed their usual success.
