Robert Christie enlisted in the fall of 1862 in Captain Turner Company, Fourth Regiment of Clinch's Calvary, county of Ware in the State of Georgia. Robert states in the pension that he was born 25 July 1820 in the state of South Carolina. A.J. Wainwright testified that he served with Robert Christie in the same regiment.
