There are many missing Hollows in uniform, particularly from th U.K. and America where there are no nominal rolls available to the public. So much of the information comes from Hollow family sources. If you can help with information, or corrections about people on the list or additions to the list please make contact. Photographs will be most welcome too.

These men may not have served at all and if they did probably did not have a uniform.
The next early record is a sailor, Thomas Hollow of His Majesty's Ship Montague in 1740. There is a will that Thomas made when he was joining the crew of the Montague. Thomas was the son of John and Jane Hollow (Holla) of Madron. See page 8 and 9 of Hollow Log 18.
More Hollows are mentioned in records of the Revolutionary War in the U.S. from 1775- 1778.
