Worldwide Distribution of Hollow

Hollow is not a common name so in order to show the distribution of Hollows I am looking at current directories on the net and using the IGI and census data. The name Hollow seems to be of Cornish origin so I have concentrated somewhat on that county.

The names used in parish registers varied quite a lot, and as can be seen in the pre 1700 data Holla was used most frequently. In later records more and more surnames in the records are listed as Hollow.
