Alfred Kenneth LIKES Sr.

   General Notes:

Died in a car accident along Redfield Road, east of Ironwood, in Milton Twp. Michigan . Michigan State Police said Likes was killed when he apparently was thrown from the vehicle as it crashed into a ditch. His body was found lying next to
the auto about 8:30 a.m.

Investigating officers said they found the engine still running and the rear seat afire. They believe the victim may have lost a cigarette, and was trying to locate it when the accident happened.

Likes was dead on arrival at 9:95 a.m. Saturday at Pawating Hospital, Niles.

Alfred married Beulah Eileen WICKIZER, daughter of Charles Wesley WICKIZER and Edith BURGER, on May 10, 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana. (Beulah Eileen WICKIZER was born about 1926 and died on May 27, 2001.)
