   Cause of his death was Died in a Japanese prison camp.

   Another name for Harlan was Hotts BURRUS.

   General Notes:

His plane was shot down near Rabal Harbor in the Pacific on Nov. 11, 1943, and he died in a Japanese prison camp. His body was never recovered. After the war, Murl and Ethel Hatfield met a man who was in the POW camp with Uncle Hotts. Missing since Nov. 11, 1943 Preusumed dead.
