Chenier reigned as the North American snooker champion from 1947 to 1970 and was runner up to the world champion Britains' Fred Davis on two occasions. In 1963 Chenier played in the world Pocket Billiard Championship and ran the first perfect game of 150 points ever registered in tournament play. To top it off it was the world champion Irving Crane that he beat.
