was a native of Hesse Cassel, Germany and was Naturalized on September 29,

Hessen-Kassel is an area in Central Germany, bordering Bavaria on the
south and the former East Germany on the east and encompassing a large area
around and to the south of the city of Kassel. It is it's own state in Germany
which encompasses the Rhine River valley. It's capitol is Wiesbaden. A note
about the proper spelling of this area, the German form is spelled Hessen
Kessel and the English form is Hesse Cassel.
Justus Weaver may have first settled in Pennsylvania where the family
had a trade in the cigar business hand rolling cigars. This story was passed
down through the generations. He had a profitable business until manufacturers
began to use automated machinery to roll cigars. Justus was found in the
1850 Baltimore, Maryland census as a Seegar Maker [sic].
